“No, no, no!? Won threw the papers away from the glass table. “This is not the kind of contract I want. You think your company can match to ours ability with this crap? If you want my company to work with yours, you better check our deal one more time.? Won’s back disappeared out of the room with his two assistants trailing behind him carrying folders and laptops, leaving the victims Won just yelled at behind.
“Fools.? Won hissed behind his teeth, “They’re all fools.? The glass doors to his office opened automatically and entered a large room with modern yet classy designs. They turned right and saw a desk and a lady sitting behind it shelving papers.
“Sir, the director of Lee’s Corporation just called in for an interview.? His secretary stopped shuffling papers and rushed to tell him. He didn’t give her a glance, but walked straight pass her desk and pushed two nicely polished doors open to unveil another room, his office.
“Tell him that I would only see him if he agrees with our deal.? He replied and waved his hands. Plopping down on his big leather chair, he spun around and looked out of the skyscrapers windows. Being on the 50th floor, the view had to be incredible.
“Yes sir.? His secretary went back outside and closed the doors.
“Then what about the plan with the urban developments?? Steven, the guy following behind him earlier asked.
“I want those guys on the project right away! I don’t care about those people, I offered a good sum of money, if they still refuses to leave, I’ll have to bring the authorities in there.? Won spoke nonchalantly, eyes fixed on the outside. The guy took note and nodded.
“What about the orphanage?? Miyeon, his other assistant asked checking the list of things she has to do on her clipboard, “Are we going to offer $500,000 for it??
“Offer as much as they want, I want the property soon. The land is perfect for a golfing area.?
“Alright.? The woman jotted down notes.
“And I want you guys to look closely at the Shin’s Enterprises; I don’t want anything in my way. Anything at all.? Won directed, emphasizing his words. “I know that bastard Gordon is up to something.? The two assistant nodded in chorus and left his office, tending to the task he told them to.
Once the doors were closed, Won let out a sigh and rubbed his forehead. The pain and nerves were tight up in a bundle of tense muscles and he couldn’t help but notice that it’s been happening on a regular basis. He concluded that it’s all stress from work. But being the demanding and perfectionist he is, he can’t let any mishap occur in his company. The company that has so much status and name in society that everyone knows who he is. Even his employees are well respected out in the streets; just say you work for Won Bin in the Bin CO. and you’re automatically on the A-list. But Won also has another reputation.
A reputation to be a jackass, a jerk, cold, and heartless. Nothing is more important to him than his business. He wants everything done his way or no way at all. No wonder he’s been cursed by so many people who he putted out of business and homes. Businesses that compete with him will most likely go bankrupt, unless he has interest in them so that he would invest in. He never lets himself fall into the act of commitment of a relationship. He would never in the first place put himself in a position where he has to be committed. The girls who were with him knew that it’s a give-take situation. Won would never surrender his feelings and himself to them. What they had was just a game, but they don’t mind. The looks, money and power that he has are enough for them. Nor does Won ever believe in truth and forever. “Nothing is forever.? That was his motto; he lives by that standard and holds true to it till the day he dies.

The rain fell down hard that day.
The skies were gray and the wind was forcefully chilly. Stepping out of his office building, Steven stepped a few foot away to make a call, checking to see where Won’s driver was.
“Won, your driver said he’s parked two blocks from here because of traffic. It’ll take awhile before he can come down here.?
“Tell him to stay where he is, I’ll go find him. I don’t want to waste a minute more of my time.? Won checked his watch. By the time his car gets down to where he was, he could sign a contract and made millions.
“Here, you take this umbrella then, I’ll catch up to you later.? Steven handed him the umbrella he was holding and ran back up to the office getting another one.
Won didn’t bother waiting for him and walked ahead himself. The raindrops made loud splashing noises when they fell on his umbrella. The droplets of water made each splash unique and each drop is unexpected; just like the things in life.
Walking coolly on the streets, Won saw the busy street filled with people. The sky was gray and packed with gray clouds, and this was exactly what always goes on in Won’s head. Everyone only lives for themselves. He smirked and told himself that he was right; you are the only one who will care for yourself in this cruel world. Don’t expect others to do it.
Oof. A body carelessly collided in front of him and stopped his tracks. The body happened to be a her, even though he didn’t see her face, the light green skirt and white sweater already told him. Her long hair was wet and she tried to recover her pose.
“I’m so sorry.? She looked up and apologized. Water was still dripping from her face, but Won got a good look at her in that brief moment. Won could see her smile as she blushed embarrassedly. Her clumsy self was running from the rain with her purse over head like it was going to keep her dry. Aimlessly, she didn’t see Won walking in front of her and collided into him, now under the same umbrella with him. She bowed politely and continued to run away.
Won turned to where she ran and stood there watching her disappear further and further away. Each movement she made was so intriguing for some reason that his eyes were attached to her. Everything around him seemed gray…but the color of her dress, sweater, hair, eyes, blush and smile were so visible and clear to him. This thought was unfamiliar, but something inside his head started to click. He couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was, but the world spinning around him seemed so…forgotten. Everything was played in slow motion in his head. The sound of raindrops was so silent and he could see the ones dripping down from his umbrella so clearly like crystals and diamonds. There was definitely something about her.
“Sorry to make you walk all this way sir.? His chauffeur opened the door for him. Sitting in the back of his black BMW, he leaned back and relaxed. Closing his eyes, his whole world seem to be gray and black, but for once, there was a stream of vibrant colors that flew across that darkness. It was the mysterious girl. He shot his eyes opened and found that he has fallen asleep. The car was still stuck in traffic and he sighed. His meeting will be delayed and the only thing he wants right now was to get out of his traffic hell hole.
The sun was out, but so was the rain. It was one of those rare days where it was warm and sunny, but there was rain. Won stared out the window aimlessly and scanned the hundreds of feet walking around the streets. The split moment his eyes saw the familiar dress and face, his head shot up and glued his eyes on her.
She was running again, but the smile on her face was radiant and bright. Running to a place with shelter over her head, she tried to catch her breath and wiped the water from her face. Her hair was dripping wet and clothes were drenched; her light green skirt swayed with the wind and so did her smile. Her rare beauty captivated Won’s interest.
The car finally moved and he departed further and further away from her.
