THIRTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (YEAR B)
Mc 10, 46-52

Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu ra khỏi thành Giêricô cùng với các môn đệ và một đám đông, thì con ông Timê tên là Bartimê, một người mù đang ngồi ăn xin ở vệ đường, khi anh ta nghe biết đó là Chúa Giêsu Nadarét, liền kêu lên rằng: "Hỡi ông Giêsu con vua Đavít, xin thương xót tôi". Và nhiều người mắng anh bảo im đi, nhưng anh càng kêu to hơn: "Hỡi con vua Đavít, xin thương xót tôi".
As Jesus was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a sizable crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind man, the son of Timaeus, sat by the roadside begging. On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, son of David, have pity on me."
Sie kamen nach Jericho. Als er mit seinen Jüngern und einer großen Menschenmenge Jericho wieder verließ, saß an der Straße ein blinder Bettler, Bartimäus, der Sohn des Timäus. Sobald er hörte, dass es Jesus von Nazaret war, rief er laut: Sohn Davids, Jesus, hab Erbarmen mit mir! Viele wurden ärgerlich und befahlen ihm zu schweigen. Er aber schrie noch viel lauter: Sohn Davids, hab Erbarmen mit mir!

Chúa Giêsu dừng lại và truyền gọi anh đến. Người ta gọi người mù và bảo anh: "Hãy vững tâm đứng dậy, Người gọi anh". Anh ta liệng áo choàng, đứng dậy, đến cùng Chúa Giêsu.
And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he kept calling out all the more, "Son of David, have pity on me." Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." So they called the blind man, saying to him, "Take courage; get up, Jesus is calling you." He threw aside his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
Jesus blieb stehen und sagte: Ruft ihn her! Sie riefen den Blinden und sagten zu ihm: Hab nur Mut, steh auf, er ruft dich. Da warf er seinen Mantel weg, sprang auf und lief auf Jesus zu.

Bấy giờ Chúa Giêsu bảo rằng: "Anh muốn Ta làm gì cho anh?" Người mù thưa: "Lạy Thầy, xin cho tôi được thấy". Chúa Giêsu đáp: "Được, đức tin của anh đã chữa anh". Tức thì anh ta thấy được và đi theo Người.
Jesus said to him in reply, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man replied to him, "Master, I want to see." Jesus told him, "Go your way; your faith has saved you." Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.
Und Jesus fragte ihn: Was soll ich dir tun? Der Blinde antwortete: Rabbuni, ich möchte wieder sehen können.
Da sagte Jesus zu ihm: Geh! Dein Glaube hat dir geholfen. Im gleichen Augenblick konnte er wieder sehen, und er folgte Jesus auf seinem Weg.
